Hi I am Tarrah but I go by TIA. I'm the founder of Virtual Para Legal Assistants. I’m a retired combat veteran who proudly served 17 years in the U.S. Army. My career as a Human Resources NCO gave me the discipline, integrity, and attention to detail that I now carry into my company and paralegal work.
After transitioning from the military, I knew I wanted to keep serving others just in a different way. I’ve always had a passion for helping people through life’s toughest challenges, and founding VPLA, gave me the opportunity to do exactly that. My mission is simple: to provide attorneys with dependable, high-quality paralegal support while also helping clients feel seen and supported.
Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community; spending time with family, and enjoying the Florida sunshine. At the heart of it all, I believe service doesn’t end with retirement, it just takes on a new form.

With over 30 years of experience as a legal assistant and paralegal, Karren has built a career rooted in dedication, precision, and a passion for supporting both attorneys and clients.
Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in managing complex cases, drafting legal documents, and ensuring that every detail is handled with care.
Outside of work, she treasures spending time with her grandchildren, who bring joy and energy into her daily life. She also enjoys helping others, finding fulfillment in the way meaningful connections enrich her own life as much as they support those around her. Her blend of professional skill and personal warmth makes her a trusted and valued presence in both the legal field and her community
